Rebecca Dunn, 14, submitted this drawing while visiting her 2-year old sister undergoing tests at the National Institutes of Health. The Children's Inn provided a place like home for Rebecca, her sister and their family. Rebecca likes cheerleading, soccer, basketball and anything involved with art. She is truly a talented girl!
We asked that kids residing at the Inn submit drawings of ANIMALS for the 1st Art Submission event. It was so much fun to look through all the entries we received! Here is a sample of some of the artwork done by these super-talented kids.
Well, our first art submission event was a big success! The Children's Inn at NIH worked hard to promote this contest during the month of April. We were a bit behind schedule, so they had only 3 weeks to collect ANIMALsketches. The artwork blew us away - so much talent! After much deliberation, we have decided to go with this adorable lion. Once all the paperwork is signed, we will reveal a little bit about the artist. She was so excited to have been chosen and she is looking forward to her upcoming fame!
